Take a step back in time – lots of fun for young and old! The Makoti Threshing Show is held annually the last Saturday and Sunday in September.
The event includes a huge parade at 1 p.m. on both days, threshing on the grounds, an antique tractor pull and an operational saw mill. There’s also a pioneer village to visit, a large stationary engine display and a giant pumpkin contest, just to name a few of the events.
Food is available on the grounds and in town. Camping on the grounds is available with and without electrical hookups. Buttons for a 2-day admission are only $10. Children under 18 are free.
